Summertime in California.
This photo has clambered up to one of my top 5 favorite photos. It’s a memory, an emotion, a summertime of happiness in one photo. I spent the evening shooting him longboarding. I made him climb the hill and skate past me more times than he wanted and this, my favorite photo, isn’t even of him skating. It’s the mood I love. The sultry evening air, the golden sunlight, the sweat and breathless tension he has when he does things he loves. It’s a feeling I get deep in my soul.
