If you read my post about Yosemite from last week you know some of my thoughts on the park. However, the reason I chose this photo for the week was because it shows the side of the park you don’t generally see–the people. Everyone goes to Yosemite for the serene nature and seemingly empty spaces–which is not reality. Yosemite is far from empty, and the real art of great pictures on the valley floor is just timing your photo to avoid the people in the background.
Also it’s really fun to see so many people sharing a hobby. It builds a sense of community with complete strangers.
