Reasons I love this Photo:
It was Christmas Eve. My parents had gone to church, my sister was in China with a friend. I chose to be alone. I chose to walk the streets of my little southern hometown and take pictures. I wanted the solitude and the quietness and the loneliness of it. Maybe that’s the reason I like this photo.
But I also love the neon reflection on the eves, how lit the store is on the inside; contrasting with the darkness outside. I like the window reflections on the floor outside. I like how crowded the store is. I like the quietness of the chaos.
