I am going to start posting a photo of the week (hopefully every Tuesday). My intention is to blend my personal connection to photos with the photography (and editing) process that went into creating them.
I can’t promise that these weekly photos will have a theme, or a genre, or a specific order, but they will all have significance to my story. And, it is my hope that I can encourage you to live adventurously and photograph everything.
Week One:
Photo Title: Little Tyke
Camera Used: Canon EOS REBEL T3i
Focal Length: 24mm
F Stop: 4
Exposure: 1/60
Lens: 18-55mm

Reasons I love this photo:
- The lighting – the cloud cover gives even lighting without harsh shadows
- The colors are all earthy–it gives the photo a nice color palate
- This was my dog Little Tyke; I have a lot of good childhood memories of her
- There is a lot of texture that makes it feel more 3-d than flat
Thanks for reading and feel free to comment!
